One of the most important tasks of our publishing house is the publication and promotion of works by contemporary, that is, 20th- and 21st-century Hungarian composers. This simply-presented, carefully edited contemporary music series serves this purpose by offering high-quality editions of the works of present-day composers from both the younger and the middle generation. The EMB Contemporary Music Series, re-started in the 1990s, has provided a forum for the publication of more than eighty present-day Hungarian compositions and is now the publishers’ most rapidly expanding series.
