This early music series was started in 1977 by András Pernye, the well-known Hungarian music historian and expert on early chamber music. It was designed to popularize 16th and 17th-century keyboard compositions. The latest volume, containing 10 four-part pieces by Bariola, was published without Pernye’s participation.
